Feedback
Here are a few of the comments that have been made about us:-
"Dear Marilyn
Thank you once again for a very successful book fair. I am really quite sad to think that it was my last, but I shall pop in to see you in the future, I am sure. I hope that my replacement will be as inspired and encouraged by you as I have been. You have always been so helpful and have enabled me to feel confident that I have left a well-equipped and all-embracing library for the children."
Tamsen

"Dear Tom
Thank you for the excellent day you gave us at St Benet's. There was a real buzz about the school and it was so pleasing to see so many children return with their parents to the book fair. The feedback was excellent and I really believe that your story telling gets them fired up for the rest of the day. So we are grateful for the enthusiasm and excitement that you generate in the children for books. We look forward to your next visit."
Annie

"Thank you for the wonderful selection of books! I'm sure the children (and staff!) are going to enjoy them as much as I have!"
Liz

"Dear Marilyn
Thank you so much for the wonderful things you have done to our school library. Your enthusiasm for books and children's reading has truly inspired me and I can't wait to see the impact of the fantastic changes that you have made."
Hannah

"Dear Beryl, Tom & Lynn
Just to say thank you so much for being our fab booksellers at FLY last week. It was a pleasure to have you there and, as last year, it really contributed to the overall success and atmosphere of FLY! Have a lovely summer!"
Natalie

"Dear Marilyn
Thank you for a wonderful evening. I'm one of those smug parents who already 'gets' the whole reading thing and didn't for one minute think I'd come out of the evening with anything more than I'd gone in with... how wrong I was! It felt like a privilege to listen to you and have you at our school. The way you talked about library visits reminded me how exciting trips to the library were when I was little and that I should be giving that experience to my daughter (rather than just buying heaps of books). I could have listened to you for hours. Your passion is inspiring and I can't wait to visit your bookshop."

"The most useful and enjoyable Teacher Training Day of my whole teaching career was spent with my colleagues at the Norfolk Children's Book Centre."
Sheila

"Just wanted to say thank you for a lovely visit to the Norfolk Children's Book Centre yesterday morning. My niece Mollie, my sister and I arrived and the look on Mollie's face at the shelves and shelves of books when we opened the door was one of pure delight. We were swiftly welcomed with an offer of tea or coffee while Mollie spied the sleeping cat and ran off to have a closer look. We spent a lovely hour in the shop reading, playing and cat observing and came away with a lovely little selection of books to take home. We will definitely be heading out to visit again, most likely bringing Daddy, Nanna and Grandad along too. Many thanks again, a fantastic set-up for the parents and children of Norfolk."
Tim

"The Library looks FAN-TAS-TIC!!! I cannot wait to spend time in the Library with the children and the new books. Thank you again. I really enjoyed working with you."
Sara

"As always, thank you so much for your generosity to our student teachers. Your advice and enthusiasm for books has proved invaluable and I know that the students have certainly got the message about reading for pleasure!"
Michele

"Dear Marilyn,
I cannot begin to thank you for all your team's hard work in our library last week. We are so excited about our new books and it was so wonderful to come into school on Monday and see such a transformation. Thank you so much for your hard work. We are so grateful."
Debbie

"I have to say it was lovely to listen to Marilyn speak about books in general, but even better when she read exerpts from the books. It would be lovely in future if there is more time for each year group so that she could read more exerpts to them. I could have listened to her for hours."
