In recognition of the range and excellence of services offered by the Book Centre the judges of The Bookseller Retail Awards made us the 2007 winner in the Children’s Independent category.
This is one of 13 categories for different aspects of the book trade and this children’s award was sponsored by Walker Books.
The presentation was made on 20th September ‘07 in the Central Hall of the Natural History Museum in front of leading players in the British book trade.
The event was hosted by Irish comedian Dara O’Brian and the presentation was made to Marilyn by author Anthony Horowitz.
Marilyn and Simon who attended the event were most delighted to receive this accolade.
It is a great credit to all the wonderful staff whose enthusiastic support makes the Norfolk Children’s Book Centre as successful as it is!
