Marilyn is on good terms with many publishers, and as authors become available for bookings ‘on the road’ Marilyn tries her hardest to encourage them to visit the Book Centre.
There is the obligatory (and now famous) ‘signing the wall’ ritual along with visits to schools in the area - talking to pupils about their books and about their lives as writers.
If an author is happy to visit a local school to chat with the children we are delighted to ring round and see who would like an author in school. It could be you!
An evening presentation at a North Norfolk Children’s Book Group venue is usually included in author activities and a large and enthusiastic audience attends.
